Karin Dreijer Andersson metade do grupo The Knife, lança um álbum sob o nome de Fever Ray, tendo o álbum o mesmo nome. Esta sueca mantém aqueles sintetizadores característicos dos The Knife, mas agora numa onda mais suave. Ainda continuam a aparecer algumas vozes distorcidas mas a coisa é mais calma, talvez uma electrónica mais sentimental, mais intensa e mais luminosa. É um synthpop melódico onde a excelente voz de Karin completa um disco que recomendo vivamente.
E como já antes o disse, não ando com muita vontade para escritas, para além de andar em altura de mudanças, por isso deixo aqui um excerto de uma crítica ao disco, que podem ler na íntegra aqui.

And like The Knife, Fever Ray’s songs are bursting with hooks that somehow emerge seamlessly over production and synthesized accompaniments that are often unconventional. That Fever Ray’s debut sounds like it originated from the same distant planet as Silent Shout is obviously the result of Andersson continuing a formula that proved successful, but it also means that Fever Ray undoubtedly has the potential to find just as much success as Silent Shout."
