imaginary trip sounds: Brothersister

BrotherSister é um projecto formado pelos irmãos Dante e Xavia Nou. A partir da Austrália, lançaram para o mundo o álbum The wunder tales, datado de 2008. Apresentam um sonoridade indie e downtempo com alguns traços pop e com uma certa dose de experimentalismo controlado. Por cima de batidas electrónicas, ouve-se a guitarra, o cordeão, piano e outros teclados e ainda as vozes de ambos os irmãos. Daqui, veio o seguinte:

"Heralding from Adelaide in Australia, this sibling duo are just at home living in a suitcase, having lived and worked and recorded all around the country and the world. Coming from a musical family; of Estonian, French and English heritage, Dante and Xavia Nou started playing and recording as children. Only in 2005 did the BrotherSister project officially begin. Making a studio of any room with some peace and quiet, the two compile songs by sending files to each other across oceans and cities, layering melodic acoustic instruments over electronic beats and sounds creating an evocative mix of whimsical and sometimes bleak tale-like songs. Having been received warmly for shows in the USA and AUS, the siblings have released their anticipated second album- ’The Wunder Tales’ in February 2008 to a receptive home crowd."
