Sonar Lodge - Sound effects

Richard van Kruysdijk nas programações e Marie-Claudine Vanvlemen na voz, formam os Sonar Lodge. Este Holandeses lançaram em 2000, o álbum Sound effects. Downtempo e trip-hop com influências jazz, atmosferas cinematográficas e ambientes noir fazem este LP.
Desde 2005 que ambos se encontram a trabalhar em projectos paralelos, mas está preparado o lançamento de um duplo CD, que traz a reedição de Sound effects e mais umas remixes e raridades. Daqui, roubei o seguinte:

"Sonar Lodge first full album on which they express their trip noir as they call it themselves; combination of darker midtempo breaks with jazz elements to moody downtempo instrumental tracks and a female vocal. Started in 1997 by Richard van Kruysdijk they have released six EP's and two albums; they can be found on various compilations, and remixed artists like Aardvarck and Sandor Caron. Over the years the music have shifted from drum ‘n’ bass and triphop to a more cinematic, nu-jazzy sound while maintaining their trademark trip noir gloomy atmospheres."
