Astrid Monroe vem da Polónia. Já havia falado dela aqui, a propósito do álbum When i was young, em parceria com Genesis P-Orridge. Em 2008, Astrid lançou Timid hate. Este seu trabalho explora campos electrónicos e trip-hop mais sombrio. Aparecem alguns samplers de vozes perdidas no horizonte, ruidos esquisitos e beats bem definidos. Este álbum deu-me trabalho a encontrar, mas valeu bem o esforço. Do myspace deixo o seguinte:"AM is a hardly to define mysterious person.
